Congratulations to the Fighting Irish baseball team and coach Ed Freije '99 on winning the City Baseball Tournament. The Irish defeated Heritage Christian 2-0 at Victory Field.

The baseball regional championship is tonight at Decatur Central at 7:00.  The Irish and the Roncalli Rebels will play for a trip to the semi-state.  Good luck to the players and coaches.

Irish Baseball Advances

The Fighting Irish baseball team defeated Mt. Vernon 2-1 in the opening game of the IHSAA Sectional.  Nick Eaton got the win with Tommy Kafka in relief.

The Irish play Lawrence Central on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Warren Central.


Baseball Sectional Revised Schedule

The Fighting Irish baseball team opens sectional play at Warren Central on Wednesday at 5:45 vs. Mt. Vernon.

The semi-finals are scheduled for Thursday at 5:30.  The sectional championship game will be Monday at 12:00.
