Cathedral High School is excited to announce Karrie Quenichet as our new Head Girls Volleyball Coach and full-time substitute teacher.
Coach Quenichet received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in 1997, where she majored in Movement and Sports Sciences/Pre-Physical Therapy and minored in Communication and Psychology. She also earned a Master of Education degree from the University of Louisville in 2016 and is currently working on her Ph.D. in Education Leadership, Evaluation, and Organizational Development.
Coach Quenichet comes to Cathedral from the Southern Indiana Elite Volleyball Club, where she has served as the coach since 2019. She's also been the St. Mary of the Knobs Youth Minister since 2016. Coach Quenichet has also coached at Providence High School, UNION Volleyball Club, Floyd Central High School, Roncalli High School, Central Catholic High School and CYO (Indianapolis), and Deanery (New Albany/Floyd County). She has moved around the country with her husband, who served as a member of the United States Air Force.
Coach Quenichet has numerous certifications, including ACE Personal Trainer Certification, ACE Lifestyle and Weight Management Certification, and The Cooper Institute Master Trainer Certification.
