The Lady Irish volleyball team battled but came up short against the #3 ranked Center Grove Trojans in 4 sets (16-25, 17-25, 25-19, 24-26) Tuesday night. After a slow start, the Irish heated up, taking command of the third set early and maintaining control throughout before dropping a back and forth fourth set. The Irish effort was led by an impressive all around performance by junior standout Sarah Casper, who led the offense with 21 kills while also tallying a 100% serve percentage, including one ace, and adding 12 digs out of the back row for good measure.
The Irish come back home Wednesday night to face the Warren Central Warriors. Pack the WAC!
