The Fighting Irish boys volleyball team won Regional 3 on Saturday May 11. In the first round Cathedral defeated Perry Meridian 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-13). Evan Davis led the way with 7 aces. In the championship match the Irish defeated Chesterton 3-1 (25-20, 14-25, 25-15, 25-14) with Allen Langdon and Blake Kaufman each recording 14 kills.

Next up the Irish will play Carmel in the Elite Eight at 6pm at Franklin Community High School.
