Meg Ahnert has been named the new swimming and diving head coach after spending the previous seven seasons as an assistant coach. Ahnert also teaches religion and science at Cathedral. Ahnert graduated from Butler University, where she was a captain of the swim team. Sophie Mernitz is a senior diver who recently competed in State Finals in one-meter diving. Out of 31 state qualifiers, Mernitz was able to secure the bag and place eighth.
