Cathedral Hosts First Round Football Sectional Game in 5-A Tournament

The Indiana High School Athletic Association has drawn the pairings for its 49th Annual Football State Tournament.  Cathedral will host Terre Haute North in the first round of post-season play in Class 5-A Sectional 13 on October 22. 

Cathedral has a 4-2 all-time record against the Patriots including a 42-20 victory in their last meeting, which came in the 2013 5-A semi-state at Arsenal Tech.  It is the only previous tournament game between the two schools.

First Round (Oct. 22)

Game 1: Terre Haute North (3-5) at Indianapolis Cathedral (8-0)

Semifinals (Oct. 29)

Game 2: Plainfield (3-5) at Game 1 Winner

 

Game 3: Decatur Central (7-1) at Terre Haute South (1-7)

Championship (Nov. 5)
