The Boys Soccer season ended a bit sooner than the team would have liked, a Regional Final loss to #1-ranked Zionsville HS, but the individual hard work has paid off as post-season Awards and Recognition have been in abundance for the Irish.
Indiana Soccer Coaches Association All-Academic recipients came in at all-time high of 15 players. Sean Callaghan, Andrew Darling, Caileb Gillig, Jacob Graff, Nate Griffin, Connor Helmen, Coledon Johnson, Nik Kolosso, Quinn Leous, Henry Madden, Emerson Masuccio, Nick Mourouzis, Jacob Schnieder, Nathan Schoenfeld and Matt Welch all earned this well-deserved recognition for their achievements in the classroom.
Six Irish players, Brent Gleason, Nate Griffin, Noah Gruber, Coledon Johnson, Nik Kolosso and Nathan Schoenfeld, were named to the All-City Tournament Team for their contributions in winning the City Tournament.
Additionally, Nate Griffin (Top Team Player Award), Coledon Johnson (1st Team All-District) and Matt Welch (2nd Team All-District) were recognized for their body of work over the course of the season by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association. Johnson and Welch are up for All-State Team consideration.
