Cathedral High School is excited to announce Lisa Finn is the new girls varsity head basketball coach.

Finn is a 1996 graduate of Huntington High School and was the 1996 Indiana Miss Basketball, as well as a member of the 1996 Indiana All-Star Team. She was also a member of the 1995 Indiana Girls Basketball State Championship Team. Finn played basketball for Valparaiso University, where she was the team captain in 2000 and the team’s most valuable player. She graduated from Valparaiso University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education/Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration. She earned a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University in 2002.

Her basketball coaching career includes junior varsity and varsity assistant positions with the girls basketball program at Ben Davis High School. She has also coached teams at Indiana Basketball Academy Revolution and St Louis de Montfort.
