Mark Noe has decided to step down as boys and girls tennis head coach after an illustrious coaching career. Mark guided the Irish to state championships in 2005 (boys), 2016 (girls), and 2019 (girls) as well as individual state champions in 2016 and 2019. Mark was named state coach of the year in 2005, 2016, and 2019. Congratulations to girls tennis head coach Mark Noe on being named the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Assocciation (ICGSA) Tennis Coach of the Year. Noe was also named District 3 Coach of the Year and will coach in the North/South All-Star game.
Noe coached the Lady Irish tennis team to a state championship defeating Park Tudor 3-2. Noe also helped Elle Pittman '21 win the individual state title.
Ellie Pittman '21 won the IHSAA Individual State Championship, her second state championship in two weeks! Pittman defeated Anna Graves of Silver Creek 6-0, 6-0 to win the second girls individual state title in Cathedral history.

Ranked Number #1 in the state for the fourth straight week
After a canceled scrimmage against North Central, the girls tennis team will officially begin their season on Wednesday, April 10 against Guerin Catholic at home. Head Coach Mark Noe is entering his 17th season with the team.
The team is composed of nine players, led by team captain, Claire Koscielski.
