Season Review: Bowling
Progress was made, and fun was had. That’s a good combination, and that was an overriding theme for Cathedral High School bowling in 2019-2020. “We had a very good season,” Irish bowling coach Mark Noe said. Irish bowling, as has been the case in recent seasons, had stronger numbers in the boys program than the girls program in 201...

Season Review: Girls Basketball
Overall, Lisa Finn liked what she saw. That didn’t mean the first-year head coach or the Lady Irish players loved everything about the results of the 2019-2020 Cathedral High School girls basketball season. Still, this past season was about establishing a program. On that front, progress was made – a lot of progress. And a foundation was la...

Midseason Review: Hockey
So far, Mike Farrier likes what he sees. Farrier is in his first season as the Central Indiana Knights head coach, but he has been with the program for five years. As he sees it, this group compares favorably with previous Knights teams. That’s true in a lot of areas – not just on the ice. And Farrier said that bodes well for a young hockey...

Midseason Review: Wrestling
They’re deep and they’re strong. As longtime Cathedral High School wrestling coach Sean McGinley will tell you, that guarantees nothing. But it gives the Irish a chance for another special season. “We have some guys who have grown tremendously, and who have gotten better throughout the year,” McGinley said recently. The Irish...
