Boys Track & Field Advances to Regionals

Congratulations to the following student-athletes on advancing to regionals. Cathedral advanced a school record 11 events!

 
Boys Track Wins City Title; Hocker Sets City Record in 800 Meter Race

The boys track team won their 3rd straight city championship, winning 9 events overall. The meet was highlighted by Cole Hocker '19 setting the city record for the 800 with a time of 1 minute, 50.64 seconds. The previous record was 1:53.20 by Chris Buhler in 1075. Hocker's time was also the second fastest in the nation. The Irish won with a score of 174 points from nine event wins. Cathedral Track & Field Sets School Record

It was another phenomenal weekend for Cathedral runners! Congratulations to Myjah Mintze '20, Kayla Pitts '21, Alexis Parchman '21, and Kennedy Miller '19 on setting a new 4x100 school record with a time of 48.88!

Congratulations to Cole Hocker '19 on his Miracle Mile Championship with a time of 4:12.48!
 



 
Distance Medley Relay Breaks Indoor State Record
 on March 25, 2019

Congratulations to the distance medley relay team of Nick Hruskoci, Cole Hocker, James Wayne, and RJ O'Neal for breaking the indoor record at the HSR Indoor State Finals on Saturday! The team finished with an impressive time of 10:03:29 and is now ranked third in the nation.
