The Irish broke out of their slump with a 3-2 win at Southport on Tuesday. Knotted 0-0 at the half, sophomore Cal Kurzawa came alive with two 2nd half goals off assists from senior Josh Wesseling. Junior Belachew Neal increased the Irish lead with a great header from a junior Liam Fahey throw-in. Southport made the game close with 2 late goals but were outmatched and outplayed by the Irish. The Irish next take on south side rival Roncalli on Senior Night on Thursday.
