Ellie Pittman '21 won the IHSAA Individual State Championship, her second state championship in two weeks!  Pittman defeated Anna Graves of Silver Creek 6-0, 6-0 to win the second girls individual state title in Cathedral history.

In the semifinals Pittman defeated Ellie Myers from Evansville Memorial 6-3, 6-1 and she defeated Halli Trinkle from Providence 6-2, 6-4 in the opening round. Trinkle was the 2018 girls state singles champion. The match lasted a little over an hour with blistering shots from both players. Ellie fought , served well and had a great balanced attack.

Pittman also played #1 singles for the state champion Irish tennis team.
