Congratulations to Head Girls Basketball Coach Lisa Finn on being named to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame 2021 Silver Anniversary Team!
Coach Finn's resume on the Basketball of Fame's press release reads as follows:
LISA (WINTER) FINN - HUNTINGTON NORTH - 1996 Indiana Miss Basketball and Indiana All-Star, AP and ICGSA 1st team all-state, starter for 1995 state champion Huntington North Lady Vikings, 1995 IHSAA State Finals MVP, 1995 AP 3rd team all-state and 1995 Hall of Fame Classic all-tournament team… 1,235 career points, 419 rebounds and 282 assists, averaged 19.8 points, 6 rebounds and 3.2 assists her senior season… a four-year member of teams that went 87-17, winning four sectionals, three regionals, one semi-state and 1995 state championship… teams her junior and senior year were combined 53-2 with two Olympic Conference titles and Hall of Fame Classic championship… played two seasons at Valparaiso University after transfer from Ball State… led Valpo in assists and steals both seasons, 264 career assists in two seasons ranks 12th in program history, was 1999-2000 team MVP… gave up final year of playing eligibility after receiving her degree in sports management and business administration… has been involved in CYO basketball and Indiana Basketball Academy… currently Head Girls Basketball Coach of Cathedral High School… married with three children, she resides in Fortville.
