Kailee Swart won the 2023 IHSAA State Pole Vault Title. Swart cleared 12-3 on her third attempt, then went to 12-6 to clinch the state championship. After clearing 13-0 on her second attempt, she set the height to 13-6 ½. This time, on her first attempt, Swart cleared the bar and set a state meet record previously set by Ellie McCardwell of Pendleton Heights in 2009.

Congratulations to the Girls Track and Field team on winning the 2021 State Championship! This is the first state title for Cathedral in track and field. Cathedral clinched the title on the final race of the evening! In the 1600 Relay, the Irish placed first to clinch the title.
