Lady Irish defeated unbeaten Bishop Chatard on their home field Wednesday night to take the City title.  This 7 in a row for the Irish, who came in as the #2 seed, and 22 out of the last 26 City championships.

Girls soccer head coach Marc Behringer was named Coach of the Year for the Private/Parochial Central Region by the United Soccer Coaches. Behringer led the Irish soccer team to a state championship and a 13-4-4 record in 2018. Behringer also won state titles in 2007 and 2009.

The Irish also won the City title in a shootout against Chatard. The Irish had 6 players named to the all-city team.

The Lady Irish Soccer team defeated South Bend St. Joseph 1-0 to win the state championship! The 2018 title is the third in program history. Maddie Wirth scored the deciding goal 93 seconds into the game and the Irish played lock down defense the rest of the way.
